Welcome to the original Stag Bar + Kitchen, one of the oldest continuously operating bars in Southern California. For over a century, we’ve been pouring beer and serving straight-forward libations to generations of regulars and return vacationers. Commonly referred to simply as The Stag, we offer a wide list of leading and locally brewed craft beer, including rotating handles of limited and seasonal brews. And as with our tradition, we also proudly offer a number of domestic favorites. Cocktails are made the old fashioned way with premium spirits and seasonal, house-made fusions. And if it’s whiskey you’re after, you won’t find a broader selection anywhere in the city with over 75 varieties including specialty small-batch.
For those also looking for a bite, choose from our menu of specialty scratch pizza, including our signature Stag, piled high with four meats and two cheeses. Other menu choices include our popular meatball sliders, wings, and seasonal salads. Kitchen hours are 10am to midnight daily. The Stag is also home to the longest Happy Hour on the peninsula with the 11-hour Happy Hour from 8am-7pm Monday through Friday! Enjoy featured drink specials and $5 bites including personal pizza! Weekly specials include Meatball Monday with featured $2 meatball sliders, Tiki Tuesday with $6 craft tiki-inspired cocktails and $6 Hawaiian pizza. Whiskey Wednesday offers $6 featured whiskey and discounted select whiskey flights. And finally Thursday brings Locals Night with $5 pizza extended ‘til midnight.
